Transfer Neo cuts the cable. Fox's Neo wireless protocol links the lever to the post with virtually no lag, just 26 milliseconds from lever press to post movement, and the battery and controller sit above the seat collar, keeping stack height low and the rear tyre clear. This Factory version has a genuine Kashima Coat upper post and comes with the wireless remote lever.

Wireless, and app-connected

Transfer Neo uses the same durable internals and accessible air valve as the 2025 Transfer, connected by Neo. The system wakes when the bike moves and sleeps after five minutes of inactivity, so there's no on/off button, and a coloured LED shows battery level. The light-action, short-throw lever sits close to the bar and runs on a CR2032 coin cell (Fox quotes about eight months). In the Fox Bike app you can pair components, update firmware, monitor service intervals and switch on Transport Mode to save battery or Bike Park Mode to stop an accidental extension while descending. If the lever battery goes flat, there's a manual actuation option.

Charging and service

The main battery lasts 30 to 40 hours and recharges in 1.25 to 1.5 hours on the included dock with the included USB-A to USB-C cable. Fox's schedule is a basic collar service every 25 hours and a full service every 200 hours (or 8,000 actuations, tracked in the app). The full service must be done by Fox or an authorised Fox service partner, and Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre.

Compatibility & fit

There's no cable to route through the frame, which Fox says makes installation very easy. Fox's owner's guide covers mounting the lever with a 22.2mm bar clamp, Matchmaker or I-SPEC EV. The saddle clamp takes 7mm round or 7 x 9mm oval rails and isn't compatible with 8mm round rails. Choose the diameter that matches your frame's seat tube, then check the size table: minimum insertion varies by size, and the motor's bottom cap sits 37.4mm below the base of the post, so make sure your seat tube has room for it. For the fit check, measure from the top of the seat collar to the centre of the saddle rails at riding height (Fox's measurement A); it must fall inside the range for the size you choose. Installation and setup are a separate workshop service.
