The DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline is DT Swiss's endurance road rear wheel — built for long days, all-weather riding, and sportives where durability and consistent performance matter more than saving a few grams. The 32mm depth alloy rim offers a mild aero benefit over shallower options, and the 350 hub with 36-tooth Star Ratchet (10° engagement) is a clear step up from entry-level hub systems. Tubeless-ready, straight-pull spokes, and a 130kg system weight rating.

Hub upgrade over entry alloy wheels
The 350 hub with Ratchet SL 36 engages at 10° — meaningfully more responsive than the 18-tooth Ratchet LN found in entry-level DT Swiss wheels, and fully serviceable for long-term ownership.
32-spoke build
The 32-spoke count (vs 24H on lighter road wheels) adds robustness for heavier riders, loaded touring, or rough road surfaces where spoke tension consistency over thousands of kilometres matters.

Rear wheel: 12×142mm Centre-Lock disc. Shimano HG-11 or SRAM XDR freehub.
DT Swiss wheels are covered by DT Swiss's manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Wear from normal use, incorrect installation or crash damage is not covered. Carbon rims may also be eligible for DT Swiss's Fair Share crash-replacement programme — ask us for the current terms. For any warranty claim or support, return the wheel to Tune Cycles and we will handle it with DT Swiss's Australian distributor.
