A quiet, heavy-duty fix for creaky BB86/92 press-fit frames on Shimano-style 24mm cranksets. Enduro's Maxhit bearings act as their own cups, and the TorqTite halves thread together inside the shell.

How Maxhit works

Most bottom brackets carry their bearings in separate aluminium cups, and every joint between cup, bearing and frame is a place for a creak to start. Maxhit merges bearing and cup into a single 440C stainless component, and the TorqTite version threads its two halves together inside the shell for a simple, secure, creak-free installation in non-threaded, press-fit frames. Dropping the extra cup frees up space for much larger balls, which is where the load capacity comes from.

Servicing and fitting

Enduro asks for an annual service by a qualified mechanic: clean the bearings and re-grease them with Enduro Speed Grease (GR-011) to keep the lifetime warranty. Enduro lists the BRK-BKSM 24 rebuild kit for servicing this bottom bracket.

Our Marrickville workshop can install this bottom bracket and carry out the annual service. Fitting is a separate workshop service and is not included in the price.
