Enduro's Maxhit makes the bearing the bottom bracket. The 440C stainless steel bearings thread straight into your BSA threaded shell with no aluminium cups to carry them, freeing up room for much larger balls and, by Enduro's figures, more than double the load capacity of aluminium-cup bottom brackets.

Why Maxhit is different

Maxhit is Enduro's patented design in which the bearing is a single component that threads directly into the bike's bottom bracket shell. Doing away with the aluminium cups that normally carry the bearings removes the mating parts that can creak, and the space saved goes into much larger balls. The bearings are machined and ground entirely from 440C stainless steel, and the kit includes a full selection of seals and spacers so it installs properly in any BSA threaded bike.

Servicing & rebuilds

Maxhit bottom brackets must be cleaned and re-greased periodically to keep the warranty, and Enduro's warranty terms call for a yearly service by a qualified mechanic using Enduro Speed Grease (GR-011). Our workshop can fit your Maxhit as a separate service and look after the annual service too.

Tools Enduro lists for installation: the BBT-41x16-24 Pro Cup socket (41mm × 16-spline, Shimano / 24mm cranks), the BBT-036 flat wrench, the BBT-001/B Shimano crank bolt tool and Enduro MAX grease (GR-009).

For servicing, Enduro sells the BRK-BKSM 24 rebuild kit for 24mm Maxhit bottom brackets.

Enduro covers Maxhit bottom brackets with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against corrosion, wear and manufacturing defects throughout the product's expected service life, for the original owner with proof of purchase. Maxhit bottom brackets must be serviced every year by a qualified mechanic, cleaned and re-greased with Enduro Speed Grease (GR-011), or the warranty is void. Damage from improper installation, or from dirt intrusion and contamination, isn't covered. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Lusty Industries, Enduro Bearings' Australian distributor.
