A tight fit, solved

A BB86/92 shell has just a 41mm inner diameter, which leaves only 11mm to work with around a 30mm spindle. Enduro's answer is a flanged double-row bearing that presses straight into the shell, doubling the number of balls per side to maximise contact area and give a long-lasting result.

XD-15 ceramic hybrid bearings

Enduro's exclusive XD-15 bearings pair ceramic balls with nitrogen steel races, an extra-tough stainless material that won't corrode or rust the way most ceramic hybrid bearings do. Enduro has used XD-15 in cycling for more than 12 years, and where other ceramic bearings roll best on the day they're fitted and decline from there, XD-15 bearings improve over time and become smoother.

What's in the kit

The kit includes the double-row flanged bearings, centre sleeve kit, outer seals, spacers for chainline adjustment and Enduro's machined aluminium preload adjuster. Like most bottom brackets, the double-row design needs precise adjustment, and the preload adjuster suits cranks without a built-in preload system or with a plastic one. No tools are included, and replacement DRF 3041 bearings aren't sold individually for this kit.

Compatibility & fit

For BB86/92 frames with 30mm (BB30-style) crank spindles. Enduro lists its BRT-060-MH bearing press, BRT-040-30MM toolkit and BRT-040-BB86/92 adaptor cup for installation, all sold separately. Our Marrickville workshop can install press-fit and TorqTite bottom brackets with the correct tools. Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price.
