XD-15 ceramic hybrid bearings

Enduro's exclusive XD-15 bearings pair ceramic balls with nitrogen steel races, an extra-tough stainless material that won't corrode or rust the way most ceramic hybrid bearings do. Enduro has used XD-15 in cycling for more than 12 years, and where other ceramic bearings roll best on the day they're fitted and decline from there, XD-15 bearings improve over time and become smoother.

TorqTite thread-together design

The angular contact bearings are pressed into precision-machined TorqTite cups. The two sides join with an internally threaded mechanical connection, an Enduro first, so after a simple installation the bearings sit accurately aligned in your press-fit frame and you aren't left chasing creaks and other noises. Because the bearings are a 15° angular contact design, they need a light preload to guarantee the best adjustment.

Compatibility & fit

Fits BBRight bottom bracket shells with Shimano-style 24mm crank spindles. Because BBRight places the bearings inboard, installation can need two tool sizes: a 52mm x 16-spline tool on the non-drive side and a 44mm x 16-spline tool on the drive side. Enduro recommends pressing the non-drive side in first, then holding it with the bottom bracket tool while the drive side is torqued to spec. Our Marrickville workshop can install press-fit and TorqTite bottom brackets with the correct tools. Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price.
