XD-15 ceramic hybrid bearings

Enduro's exclusive XD-15 bearings pair ceramic balls with nitrogen steel races, an extra-tough stainless material that won't corrode or rust the way most ceramic hybrid bearings do. Enduro has used XD-15 in cycling for more than 12 years, and where other ceramic bearings roll best on the day they're fitted and decline from there, XD-15 bearings improve over time and become smoother.

TorqTite thread-together design

The angular contact bearings are pressed into precision-machined TorqTite cups. The two sides join with an internally threaded mechanical connection, an Enduro first, so after a simple installation the bearings sit accurately aligned in your press-fit frame and you aren't left chasing creaks and other noises. Because the bearings are a 15° angular contact design, they need a light preload for the best adjustment. Some cranks have a preload system built in; if yours doesn't, or it's plastic, this kit includes Enduro's machined aluminium preload adjuster plus a full set of BB spacers for precise chainline adjustment.

Compatibility & fit

Fits PF30 bottom bracket shells with 30mm (BB30-style) crank spindles on the older spindle-length standard, under 90mm. Enduro makes a separate version for 30mm cranks with longer spindles, so check your spindle length before ordering. Depending on the TorqTite spline design, installation may need one of Enduro's Pro cup tools. Our Marrickville workshop can install press-fit and TorqTite bottom brackets with the correct tools. Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price.
