XD-15 bearings

XD-15 is Enduro's exclusive ceramic-hybrid bearing: stainless XD-15 nitrogen steel races that won't corrode or rust like most ceramic hybrids, with silicon nitride ceramic balls in deep-groove raceways that fit the largest possible balls. The 15° angular contact design gives full ball contact and works with the preload systems modern cranks use. Enduro presses the bearings into precision-machined aluminium cups that thread directly into the BB shell, guaranteeing accurate alignment.

Gets smoother with use

Most ceramic-hybrid bearings roll best on the day they go in and slow down from there. Enduro says XD-15 bearings do the opposite: as they wear in, the balls make the races smoother still, so the bottom bracket rolls faster and smoother with time and use.

Compatibility & fit

For 68mm BSA threaded bottom bracket shells and Shimano-type 24mm spindle cranksets. Enduro recommends its BBT-44x16-24 Pro Cup socket (44mm x 16-spline) or BBT-010 flat wrench to install it, and the BRT-060-MH press with BRT-040-24MM toolkit for bearing service. Our workshop can install it for you as a separate service; fitting isn't included in the price.
