XD-15 bearings

XD-15 is Enduro's exclusive ceramic-hybrid bearing: stainless XD-15 nitrogen steel races that won't corrode or rust like most ceramic hybrids, with silicon nitride ceramic balls in deep-groove raceways that fit the largest possible balls. The 15° angular contact design gives full ball contact and works with the preload systems modern cranks use. Enduro presses the bearings into precision-machined cups for accurate alignment in a T47 threaded frame.

Preload and chainline

The 15° angular contact design needs a light preload for the best adjustment. Some cranksets have a preload system built in; if yours doesn't, or it's plastic, use the machined aluminium preload adjuster Enduro now includes in this kit, along with a full set of bottom bracket spacers for precise chainline.

Compatibility & fit

For T47 internal threaded bottom bracket shells 85.5-86.5mm wide and SRAM DUB 29mm spindle cranksets. Depending on the cup spline, Enduro notes you may need one of its Pro Cup tools to install it. Our workshop can install it for you as a separate service; fitting isn't included in the price.
