XD-15 bearings

Enduro's exclusive XD-15 bearings pair cryogenically treated, corrosion-proof stainless races with Grade 5 silicon nitride ceramic balls. Deep-groove raceways fit the largest possible balls for more contact area, and dual-lip labyrinth seals packed 90% with Enduro Speed grease keep them running smoothly. Unlike conventional ceramic hybrids, Enduro says XD-15 improves with use as the balls burnish the hard races.

Preload and chainline

The 15° angular contact design needs a light preload for full ball engagement under load. If your crank has no built-in preload system, or a plastic one, use the machined aluminium preload adjuster in the kit. A full spacer kit is also included to set chainline precisely.

Compatibility & fit

Threads into 68-73mm wide T47 external frames and suits SRAM DUB and DUB Wide crankset setups. The bearings press into the cups and can be replaced: Enduro's replacement is the CXD 6806/29 LLB (29 x 42 x 7mm). Enduro lists its BBT-46x12-29 and BBT-52x16-29 Pro Cup sockets and BBT-036 flat wrench for installation. Our workshop can install it for you as a separate service; fitting isn't included in the price.
