TorqTite and XD-15 Corsa

Enduro's top-of-the-line bottom bracket bearing, XD-15 Corsa, combines corrosion-proof, cryogenically treated XD-15 nitrogen steel races with Grade 5 silicon nitride ceramic balls in a 45° angular contact design. Enduro presses the bearings into precision-machined aluminium TorqTite cups that thread together in the BB shell for a simple, secure and creak-free installation. Enduro makes its XD-15 bottom brackets and bearings at its own production facility in California, USA.

Gets smoother with use

Most ceramic-hybrid bearings roll best on the day they go in and slow down from there. Enduro says XD-15 bearings do the opposite: as they wear in, the balls make the races smoother still, so the bottom bracket rolls faster and smoother with time and use.

Compatibility & fit

For BBRight frames and Shimano 24mm spindle cranksets. Because the bearings sit inboard in BBRight frames, Enduro notes installation can need two tool sizes: a 52mm x 16-spline tool on the non-drive side and a 44mm x 16-spline tool on the drive side. Enduro recommends pressing the non-drive side in first, then holding it with the bottom bracket tool while the drive side is tightened to torque. Enduro lists its BBT-52x16-24 and BBT-44x16-24 Pro Cup sockets, BBT-010 flat wrench and BRT-060-MH press for the job. Press-fit bottom brackets need the right tools to go in straight. Our workshop can install it for you as a separate service; fitting isn't included in the price.

Enduro Bearings covers its XD-15 ceramic-hybrid bottom bracket bearings with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against corrosion, wear and manufacturing defects, for the original owner with proof of purchase. Routine servicing isn't required to keep the cover, though Enduro recommends an annual service by a professional mechanic. Damage from dirt or contamination, or from improper installation, isn't covered. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Lusty Industries, Enduro Bearings' Australian distributor.
