Tubeless sealant has a habit of ending up where it shouldn't. Caffélatex Remover softens and dissolves dried-out natural or synthetic latex so you can lift it off frames, kit and valves without scrubbing the paint.

On frames and hard surfaces

Apply a droplet to the stain, wait 10 to 20 seconds, then wipe the stain away. Repeat if needed and rinse with water afterwards.

On clothing

The formula comes from the dry-cleaning industry. Apply a droplet, give it a minute or more to soften the latex, then brush it out and rinse. Results depend on how much sealant the fabric has absorbed, so some fabrics won't come fully clean.

On tubeless valves

Apply a droplet to the valve tip and work the mechanism so the remover penetrates, then rinse with water. It is strong enough to free a valve core gummed up by dried sealant.

Compatibility & fit

Suits latex-based tubeless sealants such as Caffélatex. Effetto Mariposa recommends testing on a small hidden area first, and wiping away any excess that reaches stickers or decals straight away, as some decals may dissolve. Causes serious eye irritation: wear gloves and eye protection.
