E-MTB specific design

Motor-assisted riding puts substantially more torque through the drivetrain than unassisted pedalling — especially in high-assist modes at low cadence. SRAM's E-MTB chainrings are optimised for this load profile, with tooth geometry and material selection tuned for the torque and wear characteristics specific to eMTB use. Using a standard MTB chainring on an E-MTB will result in faster wear.
