The DT Swiss XM 481 is an aluminium all-mountain and trail rim that combines a wide 30mm internal profile with welded, hard-wearing construction for confident everyday riding.

Construction
The rim uses a welded joint and a non-eyelet PHR (Pro Head Reinforcement) spoke bed, which reinforces the spoke holes and distributes load without traditional eyelets. Dimensions are 30mm internal, 35mm outer and 21mm rim depth.
Compatibility & fit
This is the 27.5in/650B, 28-hole version. It is disc-specific with no brake track and is Tubeless Ready using a Presta valve. Build it with the supplied DT Pro Lock Squorx nipples and PHR washers. A front or rear SKU is the same rim; choose the hole count and diameter to suit your wheel build.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
