The DT Swiss U 683 is a wide aluminium rim built for plus tyres and the heavier loads of urban and e-touring riding, giving you a stable, planted ride in the city or on rougher tracks.

Construction
A larger rim cross section gives the U 683 the strength to handle the higher forces of loaded touring and electric bikes. The 35mm internal width supports wide and plus-size tyres, while the hooked (crochet) tubeless bed lets you run lower pressures with sealant. The rim ships with a Schrader valve plus a Presta adapter, with 32 hole, pin-jointed drilling for a strong, dependable build.
Compatibility & fit
Disc brake only, with no machined braking surface. Sized for 27.5in (650B) tyres and well suited to wide and plus-size rubber. Intended for trekking, urban and e-bike use within ASTM category 2, with e-bike approval up to 32 km/h or 250W and a 180kg maximum system weight.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
