Construction
The M 502 uses a sleeve-joined rim — the value-series trade-off that keeps the price down while delivering a wide, capable profile. A conventional silver eyelet spoke bed reinforces each spoke hole for reliable, serviceable wheel builds. It is positioned as the economical alloy option in the DT Swiss M-series, prized for its low-weight, wide and low-price ratio.
Compatibility & fit
This is a 27.5"/650B rim drilled for 28 spokes, with a 30mm internal and 35mm outer width and a 20mm rim depth. It is disc-specific (no rim-brake track) and Tubeless Ready with a hooked bead, using Presta valves. Supplied as a rim only — nipples, washers and tubeless tape are not included.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
