The DT Swiss M 502 is the economical alloy rim that brings a genuinely wide, low-weight build to All-Mountain riding without the premium price. With a 30mm internal width and a sleeve-joined aluminium body, it is built to take a beating across XC, All-Mountain and Enduro terrain - equally at home on a front or rear wheel build.

Construction
The M 502 uses a sleeve-joined rim — the value-series trade-off that keeps the price down while delivering a wide, capable profile. A conventional silver eyelet spoke bed reinforces each spoke hole for reliable, serviceable wheel builds. It is positioned as the economical alloy option in the DT Swiss M-series, prized for its low-weight, wide and low-price ratio.
Compatibility & fit
The M 502 has a 30mm internal and 35mm outer width and a 20mm rim depth. It is disc-specific (no rim-brake track) and Tubeless Ready with a hooked bead, using Presta valves. Available in 27.5"/650B and 29"/700C diameters and in 28H and 32H drillings - the same rim works for front or rear builds, so match your hub hole count and wheel size. Supplied as a rim only — nipples, washers and tubeless tape are not included.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
