The DT Swiss HX 531 is purpose-built for the demands of e-mountain biking. Heavier bikes and added motor torque put extra strain on a wheel, so the HX 531 is reinforced for strength with a 150 kg system-weight rating and an ASTM Category 4 classification.

The combination of a higher 36-spoke count, a welded rim joint and DT Swiss Pro Head Reinforcement (PHR) gives the HX 531 the durability to cope with the mass and power of an e-MTB. The 30 mm internal width supports wide, high-grip tyres at the lower pressures e-bikes thrive on.
Compatibility & fit
29" / 622 diameter, 36 spoke holes, disc brakes only. Tubeless Ready with a Presta valve; recommended tyre width 47–90 mm at 2–4.7 bar. Build with the supplied Squorx nipples and PHR washers. Maximum recommended system weight 150 kg.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
