The H 552 is approved for e-bikes up to a maximum 32 km/h or 250 W and carries a 150 kg maximum system weight under ASTM category 4. The 36-hole count adds spoke support for heavy-duty builds, while the sleeve-joint construction and 20 mm depth keep the rim dependable under the demands of hybrid and e-bike riding.
Compatibility & fit
This is a disc-specific rim with no brake track, so it suits disc-brake wheels only. The 30 mm internal width lets you run a wide range of trail and plus tyres. It uses eyeletted spoke seats and a Presta valve hole, and is tubeless ready once set up with tape and a valve.
DT Swiss covers this rim with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including tubeless tape, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this aluminium rim.
