The Pro 5's offset 6-pawl design keeps 3 pawls engaged at all times, striking the right balance between engagement speed, load capacity, and long-term drag performance. The redesigned hub shell profile adds stiffness without weight, and the step-down axle improves the freehub interface durability under sustained load.
