The ARC 1400 DICUT 50 is DT Swiss' flagship aero road wheelset for disc brake bikes — a collaboration with aerodynamics specialists Swiss Side that sets a new benchmark for aluminium-free carbon road wheels at this level.

The AERO+ rim profile was developed in partnership with Swiss Side using computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel validation. At 50mm depth it provides a strong aerodynamic advantage on flat and rolling terrain while remaining controllable in crosswind conditions. A mild sailing effect in moderate side wind can even assist forward momentum. The rim is tubeless-compatible, disc-brake only, and designed around thru-axle standards for maximum stiffness.
The 240 DICUT hub is DT Swiss' most refined lightweight hub shell, equipped with the Ratchet EXP engagement system — a straight spring, fewer parts and wider bearing spacing compared to the previous generation. The result is a more direct feel, lower maintenance requirements and outstanding long-term durability. The XDR body (SRAM AXS compatible) is supplied as standard; an 11-speed road body can be swapped in. Tubeless tape and valves are included.
