The CN-HG95 is Shimano's 10-speed HG-X mountain bike chain, made for DYNA-SYS drivetrains. SIL-TEC surface treatment and a directional plate design keep it running quietly and shifting cleanly for longer than a plain 10-speed chain, with less maintenance in between.

Quieter running, less upkeep
SIL-TEC is Shimano's low-friction surface treatment. It cuts drivetrain noise and slows wear, which on a 10-speed mountain drivetrain means longer intervals between chain replacements and a quieter bike on rough ground.
Compatibility and fit
Fits Shimano 10-speed HG-X mountain drivetrains. Not compatible with 9-speed or 11-speed drivetrains. This chain uses a Shimano connecting pin rather than a quick link, and the pin is single-use, so keep a spare if you expect to split the chain again. The chain is directional, so follow the direction marking on the outer plate when you fit it.
Shimano warrants this chain against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear is excluded: chain elongation, and wear to the rollers, pins and plates from use, along with damage caused by a worn cassette or chainrings, incorrect chain length, poor lubrication, crash damage or incorrect fitting.
Warranty claims and returns are handled by Tune Cycles. Contact us with your order number, send the part back to us, and we will assess it and lodge the claim with the distributor on your behalf. Please do not send the part to Shimano directly.
