The second-generation Air IL packs Cane Creek's full 4-way DB Twin Tube damping into a narrower, lighter shock aimed at XC, trail and enduro bikes. A slimmer air spring and valve body improve frame clearance over the first generation, and peak air pressure rises to 350psi.

DB Twin Tube damping
Oil circulates continuously through externally adjustable valving instead of the main piston, giving independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound control without internal valving changes.
Climb Switch
Engaging Climb Switch changes the low-speed damping through internal climbing circuits tuned for off-road climbing, adjusting both compression and rebound rather than just locking out compression.
Compatibility & fit
The Air IL G2 is sold as the damper only, without mounting hardware. 165mm and 185mm eye-to-eye lengths use a trunnion mount; 190mm and 210mm use a standard eyelet. Match eye-to-eye length, stroke and mount type exactly to your frame's suspension design — Cane Creek's shock range is sized for 100-140mm of rear-wheel travel on XC, trail and enduro bikes. The Tune workshop can fit and set up the shock.
