Burgh's Hex Bar Tape wraps your bars in a repeating honeycomb pattern, made for the hard-working riders who slog into the headwind, chase down the breaks and still have enough left to sting you on the punchy climbs.

Honeycomb for the hard workers

The hexagon is the structure bees build to store honey, and Burgh dedicates Hex to the worker bees of the bunch: the riders who do the turns on the front and bring others back after a crash. The Classic-range surface gives it the grip and comfort to match.

Burgh's Classic range

Classic is Burgh's everyday tape for road, track, gravel and commuting. Burgh's polymer blend creates a surface that is water resistant, shock absorbing and grippy, even in the wettest conditions, and it hoses off after a muddy ride. It has plenty of stretch for easy installation: Burgh recommends firm, steady tension rather than pulling hard, as over-stretching can crack or snap the tape. Finish the wrap with regular or electrical tape, then top it off with the supplied finishing tape.

Easy to wrap, easy to redo

The silicone gel backing makes wrapping forgiving: if a wrap doesn't go to plan, unwrap it and start again. That also helps on modern integrated cockpits where you may need to rewrap. If any light residue lingers after removal, Burgh suggests acetone, a hair dryer or a citrus cleaner.

Compatibility & fit

Burgh states its tape works with standard drop bars used in road and gravel cycling. Each roll is 220cm long; for extra-wide gravel bars Burgh points riders to its longer Endurance range. Bar tape fitting is a separate Tune Cycles workshop service and is not included.
