Proofide is Brooks' own leather dressing, formulated from natural ingredients to condition, preserve and showerproof a Brooks leather saddle — it is the only product Brooks recommends for the job.

How to apply it

Apply a small amount to the finished (top) side of the leather, let it absorb until dry, then polish off with a soft cloth. Apply it to the underside too, but leave that coating on to protect against dirt and moisture. Polish the saddle with a soft cloth before first use.

For all Brooks vegetable-tanned leather saddles (not the Cambium range, which is not leather).
