Press-fit bottom brackets press straight into a smooth, unthreaded frame shell, so the shell must be the right size, clean and in good condition for the cups to sit square and quiet.

Fit and compatibility

It suits a BB86, BB89.5 or BB92 press-fit frame shell and a SRAM DUB (29mm) crank spindle. Measure the shell width and check whether it's threaded or press-fit before you order. If you're changing crank standards at the same time, check that the new crank's spindle length and chainline suit the frame as well.

Fitting

Bottom brackets need the right tools and a clean, properly prepared shell, and press-fit cups must go in square. Our workshop can fit it and check the crank's preload and play at the same time.
