Your handlebar is one of your few contact points with the bike, so it pays to get it right. The Ascension's generous width gives stability and steering leverage when the trail gets rough, while the backsweep and upsweep put your wrists in a natural position.

31.8mm clamp for oversized MTB stems. Check your stem's faceplate is carbon-compatible, with no sharp edges.
