BB30 bottom brackets use a few small parts to set bearing preload and keep contamination out. Replacing worn or missing parts restores a quiet, play-free crank.

These small parts are easy to lose or damage when a BB30 crank comes out for service. Replacing them restores the correct preload and seal, which stops creaks and keeps water out of the bearings.
