SRAM eTap AXS Battery is the rechargeable battery unit used across the AXS wireless drivetrain ecosystem — rear derailleur, front derailleur, and dropper post actuator all use the same battery format. The battery snaps in and out without tools, and a full charge provides many hours of riding time. A spare battery lets you hot-swap mid-ride without downtime.

Universal AXS battery

SRAM designed all eTap AXS components to use the same battery unit — so a spare battery works in any AXS component, making hot-swap mid-tour practical. The AXS app shows charge level for each component independently.

Fit and compatibility

Compatible with all SRAM eTap AXS components (Red, Force, Rival, Eagle AXS derailleurs, Reverb AXS). Charged via the AXS battery charger (sold separately or as a kit).
