One bag for the commute and the weekend tour. The Basil Miles XL Pro is a waterproof rack-top bag that grows from 9 L to 36 L when you need the room, with smart touches for food, drink and your helmet.

Highlights

• Expands from 9 L to 36 L with fold-out side pockets and an expandable top
• Waterproof (IPX3)
• Insulated bottle pocket and two cooling-pack compartments
• Helmet carrier: X-shaped elastic with snap fasteners
• Pre-fitted MIK Adapter Plate 2.0 or hook-and-loop straps, depending on version

Carries a day's worth

Two waterproof fold-out side pockets and an expandable top compartment take the Miles XL Pro from a tidy 9 L commuter bag to a 36 L touring load. Dividers split the main compartment so things stay where you put them.

Thought-out details

An insulated pocket keeps a bottle cool, and two compartments take cooling packs (sold separately) for lunch or drinks. A hidden X-shaped elastic strap clips over a helmet so you can take it with you. A detachable shoulder strap makes it easy to carry off the bike.

Compatibility & fit

MIK Plate versions come with Basil's MIK Adapter Plate 2.0 (70173) pre-fitted, so they click onto a rack with MIK profiles or a Basil MIK Carrier Plate (70170, sold separately). Straps versions fix to the top of most rear racks with hook-and-loop straps and accept a MIK or Racktime adapter plate (sold separately). Keep the load within Basil's 5 kg carrying limit. Need a rack or MIK carrier plate fitted? That's a separate Tune Cycles workshop service – book a workshop service.
