The Basil Miles Tarpaulin Nordlicht is a waterproof bike backpack with its own light. Hook it onto your rear rack for the ride, then wear it on your back when you’re off the bike.

Highlights

• Waterproof matte black tarpaulin
• Roll-top closure
• Nordlicht LED strip with push-button switch
• Hook-On system for your rear rack
• Padded back and shoulder straps

Light built in

A push-button LED strip on the front adds visibility at night and runs on 2 × AAA batteries (not included). Nordlicht lighting is supplementary only and doesn't replace the front and rear lights required by Australian road rules.

Everyday tough

Tarpaulin fabric and a roll-top keep rain out, and several compartments hold books, phone and pens. With the weight on the rack you stay cooler and the bike stays steadier, on the commute or a weekend ride.

Compatibility & fit

The Hook-On system suits most rear racks, e-bikes included, where the hooks can sit over the rack rail. Need a rack fitted? You can book a workshop visit with Tune Cycles. Fitting is a separate service.
