The Basil Miles Daypack Nordlicht adds a built-in LED strip to Basil’s versatile commuter daypack. Hook it onto your rear rack for the ride, then carry it by hand, over the shoulder, crossbody or as a backpack.

Highlights

• Five carry modes, including Hook-On rack mounting
• Nordlicht LED strip with push-button switch
• Waterproof with a roll-top closure
• Padded back and shoulder straps
• 17-litre capacity with multiple compartments

Light where drivers look

A push-button LED strip across the front of the bag adds visibility at dusk and after dark. Nordlicht lighting is supplementary only and doesn't replace the front and rear lights required by Australian road rules.

Everyday carry

The roll-top closure keeps heavy rain out, and several compartments keep books, phone and pens organised. Padded back and shoulder straps make it comfortable to walk with, and the detachable shoulder strap turns it into a shoulder or crossbody bag.

Compatibility & fit

The Hook-On system hangs the bag from most rear racks, e-bike racks included, as long as the hooks can sit over the rack rail. Carrying it on the rack moves the weight off your back for a steadier ride. Need a rack fitted? You can book a workshop visit with Tune Cycles. Fitting is a separate service.
