Built for the daily commute, the Basil B-Safe Commuter Nordlicht keeps your laptop and valuables out of reach of wandering hands. Wear it on your back, or hook it onto your rear rack and arrive without a sweaty back. Choose the men's 18-litre or women's 13-litre version.

Highlights

• Anti-theft build with a hidden zip and hidden compartments
• Laptop and e-bike charger space (15.6 or 13-inch, depending on size)
• Nordlicht LED strip on the front
• Hook-On system hangs it from your rear rack
• Waterproof rain cover included

Thought through for commuters

The main zip sits against your back, so it can't be opened while you're wearing it. There's a hidden pocket on the shoulder strap for a transit card, a USB port for charging your phone on the go, and a trolley strap that slides over a suitcase handle. Padded shoulder straps, a padded back and a chest strap keep it comfortable on foot.

Seen and dry

The Nordlicht LED strip on the front runs on 2 × AAA batteries (not included) and adds extra visibility at night. Nordlicht lighting is supplementary only and doesn't replace the front and rear lights required by Australian road rules. Reflective loops take an LED light or your helmet, and the included rain cover keeps the contents dry in a storm.

Compatibility & fit

The Hook-On system suits most rear racks, including e-bike racks, as long as the rack has a rail the hooks can sit over. Need a rack fitted? You can book a workshop visit with Tune Cycles. Fitting is a separate service.
