The A2 to A3 Adaptor Kit lets you fit Profile Design's A3 riser system to a basebar built on the older A2 riser platform, so it can take the A3A and A3C riser kits.
What's in the kit
Two A2 to A3 Adaptors (15 mm) and a left and right 10 mm adaptor, per Profile Design's installation instructions.
Set-up
The adaptors are directional: the flat end faces the rear of the bar. The A2 to A3 adaptor goes at the bottom of the riser stack and the A3 baseplate at the top. Together they add 25 mm of stack, so on a basebar not made by Profile Design the minimum riser height becomes 25 mm; check that maker's bolt table. Pick bolt lengths from Profile Design's bolt table: bolts that are too long prevent correct installation and bolts that are too short can fail in use. Aerobar bracket clamp torque is 6 Nm (5 mm hex). With electronic shifting, route the cable through the basebar and risers before fitting the brackets.
Compatibility & fit
Profile Design lists the Aeria Ultimate, the Wilier Turbine basebar and the Orro Venturi Tri basebar.
Aerobar fitting and position set-up is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. Our workshop can fit the adaptors, choose the bolt lengths and set up your position.
Profile Design warrants this product to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty does not cover products that have been modified, misused, involved in a crash or impact, or damaged by improper assembly or by failing to follow the installation instructions.
