Care

5DEV says the bearings are fully sealed and aren't user-serviceable: don't remove the rubber seals, and there's no need to add grease or lube to the wheels. Every so often, take the wheels out of the cage, remove the outer metal spacers (dust covers), wipe everything clean with a rag (soapy water if needed) and reassemble to your derailleur maker's instructions. 5DEV doesn't currently offer replacement bearings.

Fitting

Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. The Tune workshop can fit the wheels, torque the pulley bolts to Shimano's spec and check your shifting.

  • Not for: Shimano GRX or SRAM Red AXS derailleurs. 5DEV makes separate versions for those.

5DEV backs its products with a limited 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture, covering defects in materials and workmanship. If 5DEV finds a failure was caused by such a defect, it replaces the affected product with a comparable model. The warranty is void if a part from another manufacturer or retailer is used in place of the 5DEV component, so talk to us before replacing anything.

This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with 5DEV's Australian distributor.
