What it is

This is the inner cage assembly (service part) for the original SRAM XX 10-speed mountain bike rear derailleur. It carries the chain through the upper and lower pulleys and holds the cage tension spring that keeps your chain taut, so replacing it as a unit returns the derailleur to factory shift performance.

Long cage

The long-cage version offers the greater chain-wrap capacity needed for wide-range cassettes and double-chainring (2x10) drivetrains. Match the replacement cage length to the cage length your derailleur was originally built with.

Compatibility and fit

Designed for the original SRAM XX 10-speed rear derailleur using SRAM Exact Actuation (3mm of derailleur movement per shift). It is a service component for that derailleur only - it is not a complete derailleur, and it is not compatible with Eagle, XX1, AXS or T-Type Transmission systems. The outer cage and cage pin are a separate part. If you are unsure which cage length your derailleur uses, check before ordering.
