Built for the front shift
The XX front derailleur was engineered specifically for 2x10, giving you full big-ring range with no chain rub and a fast, confident shift under power. The forged AL-6061-T6 body and formed steel cage keep it light (around 120g) and stiff.
Direct mount, no clamp
The S2 (Low Direct Mount) version bolts directly to a frame's low direct-mount tab rather than wrapping a seat tube, for a cleaner, more rigid interface. It suits a 66-69 degree chainstay angle.
Compatibility & fit
Use this only on frames with a Spec 2 (S2) Low Direct Mount front derailleur tab and top-pull (cable routed from above) cable routing. It is matched to a 42-28T chainring set on a SRAM XX 2x10 drivetrain. The S2 low direct mount differs from the S1 and S3 high direct mounts and they are not interchangeable - confirm your frame's standard and pull direction before ordering.
