Built for the trail
The X9 pairs hollow-forged aluminium arms with a four-arm forged spider to keep weight down without giving up rigidity, so more of your effort goes into forward drive. The CNC-machined, hard-anodised X-Glide chainrings use optimised pins and ramps to drop and lift the chain quickly and quietly between the 39T and 26T rings.
BB30 stiffness
The oversized 30mm alloy spindle runs in a BB30 frame's bearings, which sit inside the bottom bracket shell rather than outboard. That delivers a stiffer crank interface plus more room at the heels and ankles. Dual-sided alloy chainring bolts make ring replacement and servicing straightforward.
Compatibility & fit
Designed for 2x10-speed mountain bike drivetrains. Requires a BB30 frame and BB30 bottom bracket bearings — this crankset ships without bearings, so you'll need a BB30 bottom bracket assembly to install it. The 180mm arm length suits taller riders; the chainrings are 39/26T on an 80/120mm BCD spider.
SRAM components are covered by SRAM's limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period required by Australian Consumer Law and SRAM's published terms (generally two years from original purchase for most components). The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, improper installation, crashes, or modification.
