Built to the original spec
SRAM laces the Roam 40 with a single spoke length throughout in a two-cross pattern. Using the correct 276mm straight-pull spoke keeps tension even and the wheel true, while the double-butted 2.0/1.8/2.0 profile saves weight in the centre section without giving up strength at the ends where it matters.
External nipples for easier service
The black alloy nipples thread from outside the rim, so spoke tension can be adjusted with the tyre and rim tape in place - handy for true-ups and roadside fixes.
Compatibility
Fits SRAM Roam 40 and Rail 40 wheels in 27.5" only. The matching 29" wheels use the longer 294mm spoke - check your wheel size before ordering. These spokes suit every position on the designated wheel. If you are unsure, the Tune Cycles team can help confirm the right length for your build.
