The RED XPLR AXS derailleur is designed to be serviced rather than discarded. The chain cage takes the brunt of rock strikes and crash damage, and this kit lets you renew that entire section in one go. Fitting the complete assembly keeps the carbon cages, fluid damper and pulleys correctly matched and tensioned, so shifting performance and chain management return to factory specification.
What's in the kit
Carbon outer cage, carbon inner cage, cage damper and upper and lower pulley wheels. This is the complete chain cage assembly, not just the inner cage, making it the right choice when the outer cage, damper or pulleys are also damaged.
Compatibility and fit
Fits the SRAM RED XPLR AXS rear derailleur, model RD-RED-1E-E1, used in the 1x13-speed XPLR gravel groupset (10-46T cassette, Flattop chain). Intended for the E1 generation of the RED XPLR AXS derailleur. If only the inner cage is damaged, the separate inner cage kit is the more economical option.
SRAM components are covered by SRAM's standard limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the original date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from crashes, impacts, improper installation, normal wear (including pulley wheels), or modification.
