What it is

This is the replaceable front-facing portion of the SRAM RED eTap AXS shift-brake control: the brake lever blade you pull, the shift paddle behind it, and the electronic shift pod that sends the wireless eTap AXS signal. It is the part most commonly damaged in a crash or worn through heavy use, and replacing it is more economical than fitting a complete lever and caliper.

Wireless eTap AXS shifting

The integrated electronic pod carries the eTap AXS shift switch, preserving SRAM's intuitive shift logic once the assembly is paired in the AXS app. The lever blade retains compatibility with SRAM's reach and contact-point adjustment on the master cylinder it mounts to.

Fit and compatibility

Designed specifically for the SRAM RED eTap AXS HRD shift-brake control, D1 generation (service model ED-RED-D1). This is the left assembly. On the Australian brake setup the left lever operates the rear brake. Confirm your existing levers are the D1 generation before ordering, as the lever blade and pod are not interchangeable with earlier or later generations.
