This SRAM RED clamp adapter wraps a standard 31.8 mm round seat tube and gives any compatible SRAM braze-on front derailleur a secure, precise mounting point, with the added bonus of a tab for SRAM's ChainSpotter chain-control device.

What it does
Many frames are designed only for clamp-on front derailleurs, while SRAM's lightest road front derailleurs use a braze-on mount. This adapter bridges that gap: it clamps around the seat tube and presents the standard braze-on interface, so you can fit a braze-on front mech without modifying the frame.
ChainSpotter ready
The clamp carries a dedicated tab for SRAM's ChainSpotter, a small, lightweight, easily adjusted chain-control stop that helps keep the chain from dropping off the inner chainring. The ChainSpotter device itself is purchased separately.
Compatibility & fit
Suits frames with a 31.8 mm round seat tube. Designed to mount braze-on front derailleurs from SRAM AXS, RED eTap, RED 22, RED, Force 22, Force, Rival 22, Rival and Apex. If your seat tube measures 34.9 mm, choose the 34.9 mm version of this clamp instead.
