What it is
The cage assembly is the moving section of the derailleur that guides and tensions the chain, and it is the part most exposed to rock strikes and crashes. Because SRAM Eagle Transmission is built to be rebuildable, a damaged cage can be unscrewed and replaced rather than scrapping the whole derailleur.
Damper and pulleys included
This kit is the complete assembly: outer and inner cages, the integrated fluid damper that keeps the chain taut over rough terrain, and the upper and lower pulley wheels. It is a one-box fix for a bent cage, a seized damper or worn jockey wheels.
Compatibility and fit
Designed for the SRAM GX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur (RD-GX-E-B1). The cage assembly is mechanically interchangeable across the T-Type Eagle Transmission family (XX SL, XX, X0 and GX). Note that other GX parts such as the mounting bolt, skid plate and outer link differ from XX/X0 and are not interchangeable - but the cage assembly itself is shared. For 12-speed Eagle AXS Transmission (T-Type) drivetrains only; not compatible with earlier Eagle AXS or mechanical Eagle derailleurs.
SRAM warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the original date of purchase, in line with SRAM's standard warranty terms. The warranty does not cover damage caused by crashes, impact, misuse, improper installation or normal wear (including pulley wheel wear).
