Technology

Shimano's Dynamic Chain Engagement+ technology uses a specially profiled tooth geometry that guides the chain more securely onto the ring, even when the drivetrain is under lateral stress from rough trail surfaces. This reduces chain drop risk and wear on both the ring and chain, extending the service life of the entire drivetrain.

Compatibility & Fit

The SM-CRM95 38T mounts directly to XTR FC-M9100 and FC-M9120 cranksets (1x variants). It is not compatible with FC-M9130 or FC-M9125 in the 38T size. A Shimano 12-speed Hyperglide+ compatible chain is required. This is a single chainring only and cannot be paired with a front derailleur or second ring.
