Di2 Electronic Integration

The FD-R8150 connects to the Di2 system via a single EW-SD300-I power cable port. It is fully configurable via Shimano's E-Tube Project software, allowing riders to choose between synchronous, semi-synchronous, and manual shift modes to suit their riding style. The unit is compatible with both the Ultegra R8100 and Dura-Ace R9200 Di2 ecosystems.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for 2x12-speed road drivetrains. Compatible with the following cranks: FC-R8100, FC-R8100-P, FC-R9200, FC-R9200-P, FC-R7100, and FC-RS520. Supports a maximum outer chainring of 50–52 teeth and a chainline of 44.5 mm. Works with HG 12-speed chains (CN-M8100, CN-M9100, CN-M7100, CN-M6100). Compatible shifters include ST-R8150, ST-R8170, ST-R8060, ST-R9250, ST-R9270, ST-R9160, ST-R9180, and ST-R7170. Requires a chainstay angle of 61–66°. Not compatible with 11-speed Di2 systems or any mechanical groupset. A Di2 junction/battery unit and wiring are required.
