Strain gauges bonded inside each crank arm measure your actual output leg by leg, so you can chase pacing targets, track training load and spot left-right imbalances. Active temperature compensation keeps the numbers consistent whether you start cold or finish a long climb in the heat.

Flagship crankset, no compromise

Because the sensors live inside a genuine Dura-Ace crankset, you keep the stiffness, light weight and crisp front shifting of the R9200 group. Hollowtech II hollow-forged aluminium arms deliver efficient power transfer, and the asymmetric four-arm spider drives Shimano's latest chainring shaping.

Ride and recharge

The integrated, waterproof lithium-ion battery sits in the control unit on the spider and runs for 300-plus hours between charges, so there are no coin cells to replace. It recharges in roughly 2.5 hours, and a simple zero-offset calibration keeps your data dialled in.

Compatibility & fit

Designed for 2x12-speed Dura-Ace and Ultegra R9200/R8100 road drivetrains. Uses a 24 mm Shimano Hollowtech II steel spindle and a compatible Hollowtech II threaded bottom bracket (sold separately). Chainline 44.5 mm, Q-factor 148 mm, 110 mm asymmetric four-arm bolt circle. This variant is supplied in 170 mm with 50-34T chainrings.

Shimano components carry a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. For the FC-R9200-P power meter crankset, the warranty period is generally three years for the power meter electronics, in line with Shimano's road component policy; the warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover normal wear (chainring teeth, bearing wear), crash damage, improper installation or unauthorised modification.
