The FC-09 is designed exclusively for Shimano 11-speed road drivetrains. It pairs with HG-EV and HG-X11 11-speed chains and is compatible with any Shimano 11-speed road rear derailleur and cassette. The 52/36T chainring combination provides a broad gear range for road racing and endurance riding. A Shimano Hollowtech II bottom bracket (such as the BB-RS500 or BB-R9100, sold separately) is required for installation. Not compatible with 12-speed chains or derailleurs.
