Tubeless-Ready Rim

The WH-M8200's hookless rim profile is designed specifically for tubeless tyre use. The 30mm internal width provides excellent tyre support across the recommended 29 × 2.30–2.60" range, promoting a consistent cornering feel and reducing the risk of burping under hard cornering loads. Rim tape and valve stems are required separately for a tubeless setup and are not included.

Hub & Bearing System

The Deore XT hub uses sealed cartridge bearings paired with a labyrinth contact seal — a design that keeps contamination out without adding drag. The 15mm E-THRU axle system provides 15% greater torsional stiffness and 25% greater transverse shear stiffness compared to a traditional 9mm quick-release front axle, translating directly into more precise steering response and improved rider confidence under braking.
