The Shimano Deore SM-RT64-L is a 203mm Center Lock disc rotor built for strong, dependable stopping in all conditions. This version ships with an internal-serration lockring that has a built-in magnet, so it doubles as the speed-sensor magnet for Shimano STEPS e-bike systems – one part covering both braking and sensing duties.

Center Lock convenience

The Center Lock spline interface slides straight onto a compatible hub and locks down with the supplied lockring – faster and tidier than six-bolt rotors. This unit uses an internal-serration lockring, tightened with a Center Lock cassette-style lockring tool.

Built for e-bikes

The lockring carries an integrated magnet that Shimano STEPS drive units read as the wheel-speed signal, so on a compatible e-bike this rotor handles braking and speed sensing in one.

Compatibility & fit

Fits Center Lock hubs only. Requires a brake calliper set up for a 203mm rotor (via the correct mount or adapter for your fork and frame). Compatible with both resin and metal disc brake pads. The internal-serration lockring needs a Center Lock lockring tool of the internal-spline type. Suited to Shimano STEPS e-bikes that use a rotor-mounted speed magnet, as well as standard bikes.
