Details

Bottom-bracket cartridges take more load than a hub bearing, so a fresh pair every service interval keeps the cranks turning freely. Match the bore, outside diameter and width to the old bearing. Hybrid ceramic means ceramic balls in steel races: lighter, harder and lower friction than all-steel.

Fit

Press-fit. Press on the outer race only when fitting — hammering the inner race brinells the bearing. Sold individually — a bottom bracket takes two.

Bearings are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. Wear from contamination, water ingress, incorrect fitting (pressing on the wrong race) or use in the wrong application isn't covered.
